For a time back in 2021, I used to work as a BG artist for a fan game then known as Sonic Crystal. This was a mockup I did then for the second zone. For the longest time, I sat on this mockup, as I didn't want to leak dev assets, however, after asking a mutual who also worked on the project about it, apparently the assets were (mostly) phased out? Either way, after hearing, I posted the mockup publicly on Twitter, and the head of the project seemed cool with it, so I figured this piece also deserves a spot on my website. To date, it's the one mockup I'm the proudest of.
